Heatsinks / Puits de chaleur
The father of Sebastien, a student who took a framebuilding course with me, is making small batches of heatsinks on his lathe. I just got a set from him today, made for all the diameters I was missing: PF30 BB, 1.5"HT and Bushnell BB. If you are interested let me know and we'll get you on the list for the next batch.

Abrasive tube notcher
On this rainy October weekeed, I managed to finish the abrasive tube notcher I'd been working on and off for a while now. It's set to a 36mm diameter with a 30* angle for standard steel 1"1/8 headtubes and does a great job on thin wall steel and stainless tubing. I won't be using it for Titanium, tube gets too hot and gets contaminated with O2. I'll be making more rolls for different diameters but 36mm is the most useful for now, since there's no holesaw of that diameter and the HT/DT is often a tricky cut on thin wall tubes.

En ce weekend pluvieux, j'ai réussi a finir mon grugeur de tube abrasif sur lequel j'ai travaillé par intermittence depuis quelques temps. Il est réglé sur un diamètre de coupe de 36mm a un angle de 30* pour les douilles de direction 1"1/8 et il marche très bien sur des tubes acier et inox fins. Je ne l'utiliserai pas pour le titane, les tubes chauffent trop et se contaminent avec l'O2. Je ferai d'autres rouleaux de diamètres différents, pour le moment je vais l'utiliser surtout pour les coupes tube diagonale / douille direction.
Pinion Prototype
Before the end of the year I want to build a 7005 Alu frame around the Pinion P18 gearbox. I got my hands on a complete build kit from Pinion with jig and bridge. I've been wanting to do an Alu frame for a while now, just never got round to doing it, so now with the Pinion box sitting in front of me, I can't delay it any longer, it's a great opportunity.

Avant la fin de l'année, je voudrais faire un cadre Alu 7005 autour du boitier de vitesse Pinion P18. J'ai mis la main sur un kit complet avec gabarit et carter Alu. Ca fait un bout de temps que je veux faire un cadre en Alu, je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de le faire, avec ce boitier Pinion devant moi, je ne vais pas pouvoir tenir bien longtemps, c'est l'occasion rêvée.
