Life is calling (again)
It's that time of Life again, when a chapter ends, a page turns and a new one starts. After 12 years in Denmark our family is moving to Luxembourg, an even smaller country but much closer to my origins, my family, my roots. It's a lot of good memories we're leaving behind: both of our boys were born here, we built a home and made friends we will undoubtedly miss, but it also feels right to close the loop, reconcile geography and family while opening new horizons for our own kids.

I'm packing the workshop once again and I have no idea if and when I will unpack it. If I'm honest though, I'm kind of glad, because what felt like a liberating and empowering adventure into framebuilding 18 years ago, feels much more like a burden now, a weight to carry forward. I think I will spend more time on riding my bike in the comings months and perhaps years and not worry too much about building them, I anyway have too many bikes in my collection and I would need a few more lifetimes to go through all of them. Hopefully my kids will also ride and enjoy them as much as I did when I was growing up.
It's time like these when you're reminded that life's a loop, an endless circle, a wheel that keeps on rolling.
